Scrawl Score operates as an independent handwriting analysis unit providing certified personality readings based on freeform signature drawing. We are not affiliated with any forensic document examiner, graphologist, bank, or notary public. We are a website. Our certifications carry no legal weight. They do, however, carry the weight of whatever you just drew with your mouse, which is considerable.
Signature IQ is calculated from five measured variables: stroke velocity (Confidence), turning-angle jitter (Chaos Index), a formula involving stroke count (Legibility), the bounding box your signature occupies (Executive Presence), and total ink distance traveled (Flourish Factor).
Unlike most of our other tools, this score is not random. It is derived from the actual geometry of what you drew, which we believe makes it more accurate, though not more meaningful.
Scores translate to tiers: Executive Tier (160+), Board-Approved (130-159), Passably Human (100-129), Under Review (85-99), and Requires Supervision (below 85). Most first-time signatures land in the middle two tiers. We do not know what this means either.
